If you’re anything like me, (up to about a year ago) you probably think that privacy on the web isn’t such a big deal. I knew my data was the price I paid for free services like Google and Facebook, so that was fine. I also thought that people who wanted to keep their data private did so just for its own sake.
I’ve always found the internet incredible. Some of the things that excite me about the internet are the same things that have excited me since I learnt it existed. My first forays into the web were during brief supervised glimpses of screen time. First at school, then during briefer thirty minute spurts of online time on the dial up I installed at home. I learnt how much there’s always been to create, discover and explore.
Had a hiatus as the laptop I borrowed really wasn’t able to function normally a lot of the time (is turning on too much to ask?) but I now have a lovely new one to code and play with.
Not a very successful week, but I was tired and a ill for part of it. Mostly chalk it up to poor planning and poor initial scanning of the material.
